Tisane Labs develops and distributes artificial intelligence (AI) which can extract actionable intelligence for brands, such as what customers liked or did not like, to extract topics, date and time references, noun phrases and detect abuse (hate speech, trolling, cyberbullying, criminal activity and sexual harassment) on the Internet and in 27 natural languages.
Tisane Labs works with online diversity, and their services are not limited to English content or content in a handful of Western European languages only. With Tisane Labs' artificial intelligence software, the vast amounts of the unstructured content in many languages translate into meaningful insights.
Tisane Labs API provides structured insight, such as aspect-based sentiment, instances of abuse, entities within text, list of sentences and metadata for each sentence, phrases and parse trees. The insights are returned by the method /parse. The user preferences in the developer portal specify the sections to show. Their Language Model API allows browsing language data to the level of word senses in the language supported by the system.
Tisane Labs pricing structure begins at a limited, but free version which does not include their language model API. This beginning tear is good for 50,000 requests per month and 10 hits per minute.
Their Small subscription offer begins at $99 per month for 100,000 requests per month at 120 hits per minute.
Their Medium subscription is $159 per month for 400,000 requests at 120 hits per minute and is the first subscription tier to include their language model API, but without the option for customization.
Their Large subscription is $899 per month for 2.5 million requests per month at 180 hits per minute, includes their language model API with limited customization offered.
Their final price tier is an enterprise level tier with no rate limit, full customization and service bus support. The price for this tier is based on the size and application.
As of January 2020, Tisane Labs had no disclosed funding rounds through traditional venture capital, start-up accelerators or alternative funding campaigns.
