Thomas Stanley (author)

Thomas Stanley (1625-1678) was an English author, historian, and translator. Born in Buntingford and educated at Pembroke College, Cambridge, Stanley pursued various occupations primarily revolving around writing and academia.

Throughout his career, Stanley held the roles of a historian, author, and translator. He spent most of his life in England, and his final place of residency was London, where he passed away on April 12, 1678.
