The Exxel Group is a venture capital firm in Argentina that focuses on sourcing, structuring and lead investing in buyouts of companies worldwide. Founded 1991 in Buenos Aires, Distrito Federal, Argentina, it invests in early stage ventures, series B, venture rounds, series C, and series A. Its portfolio companies include ThingMagic, Brijot Imaging Systems, MAKO Surgical, and Destineer. As of June 2020, The Exxel Group has made seven investments. Their most recent investment was on July 15, 2008, when ThingMagic raised $9.5M. The Exxel Group has had three exits, the most notable of which include MAKO Surgical, ThingMagic, and Brijot Imaging Systems.
