The Doors were a band formed in Los Angeles on January 1, 1965. Consisting of key members Jim Morrison, Robby Krieger, John Densmore, and Ray Manzarek, the band was named after the book "The Doors of Perception". Their musical style encompassed genres such as psychedelic rock and blues rock.
The band authored numerous songs, including "Riders on the Storm", "Roadhouse Blues", "People Are Strange", and "Strange Days". They received a Grammy Award for Best Music Film.
