Sun Myung Moon (born June 1, 1920, in North Pyongan Province; died September 2, 2012, in South Korea) was a South Korean citizen and the founder of various organizations, including the media enterprise The Washington Times and the Yongpyong Resort. He also founded the subsidiary Tiempos del Mundo. Moon was educated at Waseda University in Japan.
