Suhail Doshi is the founder and chairman of the board of Mixpanel, Inc., a San Francisco-based mobile and web analytics platform, and the founder of Mighty Computing, Inc., a cloud-based web browser application.
Suhail Doshi is a self-taught programmer who majored in computer systems engineering at Arizona State University until dropping out to join the Y Combinator startup accelerator program in 2009. While still enrolled, Doshi worked at Slide as a Software Engineer intern, which was headed by PayPal co-founder Max Levchin, who later became a seed investor for Mixpanel.
In 2009, at age 20, Doshi founded the data analytics company Mixpanel and was shortly thereafter joined by co-founder Tim Trefren. Doshi served as the CEO of Mixpanel until 2018, when he stepped down and became the chairman of the board. He was replaced as CEO by former Twitter executive Amir Movafaghi. Doshi has expertise in Python, scaling infrastructure and data, analytics, product design and UI/UX design and is a self-described "pizzatarian, programmer, and music maker."
In 2019, Suhail Doshi founded Mighty Computing, Inc., also known as Mighty, a San Francisco-based cloud-based web browser application. And in 2021, Suhail Doshi co-founded TUNES Project, an AI-generated music project, with Eric Gao, Merwane Drai, and Rosco Kalis.
