Strom Thurmond

Strom Thurmond was born on December 5, 1902, in Edgefield, South Carolina, and passed away on June 26, 2003, in the same city. A citizen of the United States, Thurmond had a diverse career that included working as a politician , teacher, judge, and lawyer.

Thurmond's education began at a primary school and later went on to attend Clemson University. He had two children: Essie Mae Washington-Williams and Paul Thurmond.
