Steve Marriott (born Stephen Peter Marriott ) was an English singer-songwriter, guitarist, actor, and record producer . Born on January 30, 1947, in Manor Park, London , Marriott was known for a wide range of genres such as rock music, rhythm and blues, blues rock, and hard rock .

As a British citizen , Marriott received his education at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts . Lifetime achievements in the music industry included his contributions as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist, as well as a record producer. Later, Marriott passed away on April 20, 1991, in Arkesden .
