Sixth Crusade

The Sixth Crusade was a campaign led by Frederick II, Holy Roman Emperor, who was also the author of the crusade. Key people involved in the crusade were Nasir ad-Din al-Qasri Muhammad ibn Ahmad, Payo Enríquez de Rivera, and Hermann von Salza. The crusade began in June 1228 and was discontinued in 1229.

The Sixth Crusade, sometimes also referred to as simply "crusade" or "sixth crusade", primarily took place in Egypt and Cyprus. Huineng was one of the award recipients during this time. Frederick II, Holy Roman Emperor, was the founder and main figure of the Sixth Crusade, and the campaign was named as such after its discontinuation.
