Simone de Beauvoir

Simone de Beauvoir was a French writer, philosopher, and author born on January 9, 1908, in Paris. She was educated at the University of Paris and held citizenship in France. De Beauvoir also worked as a journalist and wrote novels, using the pseudonym "Le Castor".

Some of her notable works include "The Second Sex", "The Mandarins", "When Things of the Spirit Come First", "She Came to Stay", and "Pyrrhus and Cineas". De Beauvoir also belonged to the category of "Women letter writers".
