Liu Shi (shì) (75 BC - July 8, 33 BC), the son of Emperor Yuan of the Han Dynasty, Emperor Xuan of the Han Dynasty, Liu Xun, and his wife Xu Pingjun, the eleventh emperor of the Western Han Dynasty.

A few months after Liu Shi was born, Emperor Xuan of the Han ascended the throne. Two years later, his mother Xu Pingjun was poisoned by Huo Guang's wife, Huo Xian. In the fourth month of Wushen in the third year of the Earth Festival (May 24, 67 BC), Liu Shi was established as the crown prince. In December of the first year of Huanglong, Jiaxu (January 10, 48 BC), Emperor Xuan of the Han died, and Gui Si (January 29, 48 BC) was succeeded by the crown prince Liu Shi, who was the Yuan Emperor of the Han Dynasty.
