Sergio Fogel is one of the most recognized internet entrepreneurs in Uruguay and in Latin America in general. He founded several companies, among them Astropay (the leading alternative payments processor in Latam), Uniotel (LongDistance Carrier in Uruguay) and JetNumbers.com.
Sergio is also the original founder and organizer of Punta Tech Meetup, a gathering of tech entrepreneurs held every January in Punta del Este, Uruguay.
Sergio holds an MBA from INSEAD and a master's degree in computer science from the Technion. He previously worked as reseracher in IBM's Haifa Research Labs, as well as in sales for Oracle Corp.
