Samuel Fuller (1912-1997) was an American film director, screenwriter, novelist, journalist, and World War II veteran. Born in Worcester on August 12, 1912, Fuller worked as a journalist before transitioning to the film industry, where he would become known for his work directing low-budget genre movies.
Throughout his career, Fuller had various occupations, such as a model, a screenwriter, a film producer, an actor, a film director, a novelist, and a journalist. He was married to Christa Lang, and passed away in Hollywood on October 30, 1997.
