Samson Burke

SAMUEL BURKE

Canadian athlete (swimmer and wrestler) and Hollywood actor.

He was born on April 6, 1930 in Montreal.

Graduated from Baron Bing High School and McGill University in Montreal.

As a teenager, he became interested in bodybuilding.

Started swimming, achieved great success, won many awards and titles, represented Canada in the 1948 Olympics.

In 1950, he moved to another sport, wrestling, where he again became successful and famous.

In 1961 he began acting in films, in the U.S. and Europe. He gained fame in Italian films.

In 1980 he moved to Hawaii. He took part in various shows.
