Rugao

Rugao is located in the north wing of the Yangtze River Delta, 32°00′～32°30′ north latitude and 120°20′～120°50′ east longitude. It faces the Yangtze River in the south, faces Zhangjiagang City across the river, Hai'an City in the north, Rudong County in the east, Tongzhou District in the southeast, Taixing City in the west, and Jingjiang City in the southwest. According to the Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning (on June 22, 2020, the “Rugao Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources” was renamed “Rugao Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning”. ) provides data, the total area of the city is 1573.96 square kilometers, of which the land area is 1451.85 square meters, accounting for 92.24%; the water area is 122.11 square kilometers, accounting for 7.76%.
