Rithy Panh

Rithy Panh is a Cambodian filmmaker, writer, screenwriter, and film director. Born on April 18, 1964, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, he holds dual citizenship in Cambodia and France. Panh was educated at the Institut des hautes études cinématographiques.

Throughout his career, he has worked within the genre of depressive realism. One of his notable works is "S-21: The Khmer Rouge Killing Machine".
