Known for his versatile roles in various film genres, Milland's notable works include "Ambassador Bill," "We're Not Dressing," "Menace," "The Plaything," "The Bachelor Father," "Polly of the Circus," and "Orders Is Orders". Milland, who held dual citizenship in the United Kingdom and Wales, enjoyed a long and successful career in both film and television, receiving recognition for his work in classic films such as "The Lost Weekend," "Dial M for Murder," and "X: The Man with the X-ray Eyes".

Throughout the years, Milland appeared in numerous television shows, including "Alfred Hitchcock Presents," "The Ed Sullivan Show," "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson," "Night Gallery," and "Battlestar Galactica", to name just a few. He continued to work in the entertainment industry until his later years, starring in the 1982 television movie "The Royal Romance of Charles and Diana" as well as the 1983 film "Cave-In!"
