PowerPlant Whole Foods Inc. is a British Columbia corporation based in Kelowna. The Company started as a family owned and operated business. PowerPlant was created on the foundation of producing raw, organic, vegan and gluten free products.
The company incorporated in the spring of 2010 with two varieties of a Raw Whole Food Bars and Frozen Veggie Cubes products. Early in 2012 the Company officially became known as PowerPlant Whole Foods Inc.
The founder, Martin McDermott, a successful entrepreneur and former chef, together with his children and a team of life-long employees in Kelowna; created, produced and developed the current great tasting products that boast of being raw, organic, vegan, paleo, gluten and peanut free.
The Kelowna facility, affectionately known as HQ, is BC Kosher certified and the team is proud to call this Beautiful BC Okanagan Valley city their home.
