Pierre Duhem

Pierre Duhem (1861-1916) was a French scientist and philosopher who had diverse interests and held a range of professional roles. Born in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, Duhem was educated at Collège Stanislas de Paris. He held French citizenship and worked in various fields, such as philosophy, physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Duhem used the pseudonym 'Ch. Clérice' in some of his works.

Duhem passed away in Cabrespine on September 14, 1916. Throughout his life, he was known for his contributions to these fields and bridging the gap between science and philosophy, making him a unique and important figure in the history of science.
