Pete Docter

Pete Docter, born on October 9, 1968, is a film director, screenwriter, animator, and cartoonist originally from Bloomington, Minnesota. He holds citizenship in the United States and currently resides in the country.

Docter attended several educational institutions, including the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities), California Institute of the Arts, Bloomington Kennedy High School, and MacPhail Center for Music.

As a director, his notable works include the films "Soul" (2020), "Monsters, Inc.", "Up" (2009), "Inside Out" (2015), and "Up There".
