Paolo Nespoli

Paolo Nespoli is an Italian astronaut, engineer, and amateur radio operator. He was born on April 6, 1957, in Milan. Nespoli holds Italian citizenship and is a part of a group known as Italians.

Nespoli pursued his education at the University of Florence and New York University. Throughout his career, he has been recognized with various awards, including the Ordine della Stella della solidarietà italiana, NASA Space Flight Medal, Ordine al merito della Repubblica Italiana, and the America Award of the Italy-USA Foundation.
