Olga (Olga of Pskov) d. 969 - the great princess of Kiev. According to legendary information, came "from common people". She was taken by Igor and became the mother of Svyatoslav Igorevich. In 945, after the murder of prince Igor by Drevlyan, she took cruel revenge on the rebels. She was the ruler of the state during the minor Svyatoslav and during his endless campaigns. Olga of Pskov set the rates of tribute from her subjects and arranged pogosts (administrative centers). In 955 she visited Constantinople where she was baptized and got her Christian name Helen. She was canonized by the Russian church.
