Noah Baumbach

Noah Baumbach is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer born in Brooklyn on September 3, 1969. Holding United States citizenship, he was educated at Midwood High School and later attended Vassar College.

Baumbach's directorial debut was in 1995 with the film "Kicking and Screaming". Throughout his career, he has directed various films, including "Mr. Jealousy", "The Squid and the Whale", "Margot at the Wedding", "Frances Ha", and "Marriage Story" among others. He was also the author of "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" and "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted".

Throughout his career, Baumbach has explored various genres, such as comedy, drama, romantic film, documentary film, comedy-drama, and action film.

Baumbach has received numerous awards and nominations, including the Writers Guild of America Award, Golden Globe Awards, British Academy Film Awards, Academy Awards, Critics' Choice Movie Awards, Film Independent Spirit Awards, and Chicago Film Critics Association Awards.

Additionally, Noah Baumbach has served on the board of directors for "Frances Ha" and is the creator of the film. He has been partnered with Greta Gerwig and was previously married to Jennifer Jason Leigh. Baumbach's father, Jonathan Baumbach, was also involved in the film industry.
