Newstrike Brands is a publically traded Canadian company that specializes in the production of medical cannabis. Founded in 2004, the company is licensed to cultivate and sell cannabis in the Candian market . Newstrike is the parent company of Up Cannabis, Inc. and has been a strategic partner in the development of a number of Candian cannabis companies. In May 2019, Newstrike was acquired by HEXO Corp, a packaged goods cannabis company.

Newstrike Brands has invested in Green Tank Technologies on March 29, 2019. This investment in the Series A round of Green Tank Technologies was valued at CA$14M. Green Tank Technologies is a global company that specializes in vaporizing hardware and product design.
