In today's introductory article, we'll look at what problems the NASDEX solves and what the opportunities are.

A tokenized DEX could solve many of the legacy problems associated with a traditional stock exchange.

Current restrictions:

Due to account opening and KYC requirements for individuals, it is generally difficult and expensive to buy stocks outside of their jurisdiction, as well as increasing back office overhead for institutional investors.

Traditional stock exchanges are an inefficient way to manage a portfolio containing both cryptocurrencies and capital, given the difficulty of transferring securities between on-chain (DEX, CEX) and off-chain, as well as different trading times.

Investors can generally only buy whole shares of potentially very expensive shares instead of fractional ownership, which is commonly used for tokens and tokenized assets. Institutional investors have to face currency risk.
