Mo Farah, officially named Mohamed Muktar Jama Farah, was born on March 23, 1983 in Mogadishu. He is a Somali-born British long-distance runner and holds citizenship in the United Kingdom. Farah is an athlete and athletics competitor.
He was educated at Springwest Academy and Isleworth and Syon School. Currently, he resides in London.
Farah is the father of three children with his partner, Tania Nell: Amani, Hussein, and Aisha. He is the son of Mukhtar Farah and has a sibling, Hassan.
Throughout his career, Mo Farah has received numerous awards, including the 2006 and 2010 British Athletics Writers' Association Awards, the 2010 Best Senior Athlete of 2010 (UK Aviva Athletics Awards), and was inducted into the 2010 London Youth Games Hall of Fame.
