Michael Haneke

Michael Haneke was born on March 23, 1942, in Munich, and is an Austrian film director, screenwriter, writer, and theater director. He completed his education at the University of Vienna.

Haneke is known for directing films like "Funny Games" (1997), "Time of the Wolf", "The White Ribbon", "Amour", "Happy End", "Code Unknown", "The Piano Teacher", and "The Seventh Continent".

Throughout his career, Michael Haneke has received numerous awards which include the BAFTA Award, Alliance of Women Film Journalists EDA Award, Amanda Awards from Norway, Bodil Awards, Cannes Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, and European Film Awards, among many others.
