Sir Michael Caine is an English actor. He has appeared in more than 160 films during his career. He has received various awards, including two Academy Awards, a BAFTA Award, three Golden Globe Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Kane is one of five male actors nominated for an Academy Award for acting in five different decades. He starred in seven films that were included in the British Film Institute's list of the 100 Greatest British Films of the 20th century. In 2000, he received a BAFTA scholarship and was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for his contribution to cinema.
