The Media Innovation Lab (miLAB) at IDC Herzliya is a collaboration between Sammy Ofer School of Communications and Efi Arazi School of Computer Science. miLAB is a research and prototyping lab that explores the future of media, technology, and human-robot interactions.

The lab works closely with industry sponsors and international research centers in the Human Centered Computing and Media Technologies domains. The lab carries out several joint projects with research laboratories in the world, among them the Media Lab at the Massachusetts institute of Technology (MIT).

miLAB was founded by Oren Zuckerman. The goal was to create a small lab inspired by the large MIT Media Lab. Their stated goal is to create an interdisciplinary prototyping lab for students to create interactive experiences, and to study how these technologies influence human behavior.
