Max Fabiani (1865-1962) was an Italian architect who held dual citizenship in Austria and Italy. He was born in Kobdilj, a village in present-day Slovenia, and studied at the Technische Hochschule and TU Wien. During his career, Fabiani primarily worked in Italy, where he designed numerous architectural projects, including the Prešeren Monument in Ljubljana. He passed away in Gorizia, Italy, in 1962.
