Mark Pesco is IQ-EQ’s Group Chief Executive Officer, based in Jersey.
Mark is responsible for setting the strategic direction of IQ-EQ’s and leading the day to day management of the business and our people across the Group.
Professional – Personal
Following a first-class honours degree in business studies from UWL in London, Mark qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC. He has since held a number of senior leadership roles in the investor services sector including Partner, Managing Director, Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Responsibilities have included financial, operational, strategic, general management and client relationship management. His career has also included periods working in Singapore, Australia and London. He is now based in his island home of Jersey.
He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
He has significant experience dealing with families and beneficiaries with wide ranging interests and continues to act for some of the Group’s largest clients. As a widely respected industry figure, Mark has been recognised for his expertise, unwavering passion for delivering superior client service and his highly personable leadership style.
Mark’s awards and accolades include four years in eprivateclient's '50 Most Influential' list (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2020); finalist in the UK national Institute of Directors (IoD) Director of the Year Awards and winner of 'Director of the Year for a Large Organisation' in the IoD Jersey Awards (2014). He has also been a recommended practitioner in the Citywealth Leaders List since 2013.
A lover of good food, Mark loves planning menus from his expansive collection of cookery books for his family and friends to savour and enjoy. His passion for cooking echoes his approach to business: when you bring the right ingredients together, great things can happen. His passion for food is balanced out with exercising both body and mind through his long-term practice of mindfulness and meditation techniques.
