Mark Lewis is a faculty member in the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering at Cornell University. His undergraduate degrees are in Mathematics and Political Science from Eckerd College. He earned a Master's Degree in Theoretical Statistics from the Florida State University and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
After completing his Ph.D., he spent a year at the University of British Columbia as a postdoctoral fellow in the Centre for Operations Excellence with Martin Puterman. He spent six years in the Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan before arriving at Cornell University in the School of Operations Research and Information Engineering.
