Margaret Mahy

Margaret Mahy was a writer, novelist, and librarian born on March 21, 1936, in Whakatane, New Zealand. She held New Zealand citizenship. Mahy was educated at the University of Canterbury. In her career, she primarily focused on writing and becoming a novelist; however, she also worked as a librarian. She passed away on July 23, 2012, in Christchurch, New Zealand.
