What is Maneki-Neko?
Maneki-Neko (Jap 招き猫, literally "Beckoning Cat"; also known as "Lucky Cat" or "Money Cat") is a common Japanese figurine, often made of porcelain or ceramic, which is believed to bring good luck to the owner. The sculpture depicts a cat with its paw raised vertically
A fundamentally new approach to quality
We want to make the collection unique and high quality so that you love your SoLucky Cats. We got tired of the attributes within the NFT collection overlapping with each other and eventually losing the uniqueness of the character. So we decided to change the usual approach to all attributes and make every resident of Manekipolis look, 100% individual, just like in real life! At the same time, we were able to leave the rarity system familiar and easy to understand.
Events & Collections
Every week different activities are happening in Manekipolis. Such events not only add unique characters. Some activities allow you to get on the whitelist or get a free mint.
Most events are aimed at adding unique collections. For example, we know for sure that there is a secret hideout in town, and there will also be a large-scale rock festival very soon. Once the event is activated, the city will have unique SOLucky Cats, whose appearance will not overlap with the usual inhabitants. According to preliminary information, Manekipolis expects 1,111 new residents out of 7,777, which means the chance of getting one of them is 1:7
One more thing
SOLucky Cats are the first residents of Manekipolis. But the Maneki-Neko universe is much broader, and there are other creatures in it. Rumour has it that there is a settlement of medieval SOLucky Dogs near a mountain river, and the jungle is inhabited by very technologically advanced animals.
