Lukas Florian David (June 5, 1934, Wels - October 11, 2021, Lemgo) was an Austrian violinist and music teacher. Son of composer Johann Nepomuk David, brother of Thomas Christian David.

He studied at the Leipzig Higher School of Music, then at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, among other things, with Nathan Milstein and Tibor Varga, later he performed as part of an ensemble of soloists under the direction of Varga. Since 1956 he has given concerts as a soloist, with a wide range of works from Johann Sebastian Bach to the latest authors. In 1958 he received the North Rhine-Westphalia Honorable Mention for Young Artists. David's recordings include concerts by Henryk Wieniawski, Heinrich Wilhelm Ernst, Karl Goldmark.
In 1959-1966 he taught at the Vienna Academy of Music, in 1966-1998 he was a professor at the Detmold Higher School of Music.
He died on October 11, 2021.
