Loop-mediated isothermal amplification

A method of amplifying nucleic acids under isothermal conditions using DNA polymerase with strand displacement

Loop-mediated isothermal amplification is a fast, cheap method of DNA amplification that can be conducted in a single tube. Through a unique dumbbell pattern, the technique creates multiple amplification regions on template DNA for exponential amplification.
