Liam Howlett, born as Liam Paul Paris Howlett on August 21, 1971, is a British musician, DJ, composer, record producer, and songwriter from Essex, United Kingdom. His career spans several genres including rave music, big beat, techno, breakbeat hardcore, hardcore (electronic dance music genre), electronic rock, electronica, and alternative rock. Howlett is known for his work in the music, music technology, and music industry.

Howlett is the founder of Ragged Flag, a record label. Apart from being a DJ, composer, record producer, and songwriter, Liam Howlett has also taken on other roles within the music industry as a musician. He is married to Natalie Appleton.
