Lev Mei

Lev Mei (13 February 1822 - 16 May 1862) was a Russian poet born in Moscow. He died in Saint Petersburg at the age of 40. Mei studied at the prestigious Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum, an institution which contributed to the Russian literary tradition. He held citizenship in the Russian Empire and his occupation was a poet.
