LeVar Burton

LeVar Burton, born Levardis Robert Martyn Burton Jr. on February 16, 1957, is a multi-talented individual with occupations such as film director, actor, writer, television director, television producer, and television presenter. He was born in Landstuhl, Germany, and holds citizenship in the United States.

Burton received his education from Christian Brothers High School in Sacramento, California, before attending the University of Southern California and the USC School of Dramatic Arts. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

In his career, LeVar Burton has been recognized with awards such as the Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album.
