The term "Zhengshan small species" black tea was first called WUYI BOHEA in Europe, in which WUYI is a homophone of Wuyi; In Europe (Britain), it is a symbol of Chinese tea. Later, due to the prosperity of trade, the local people disturbed the market by distinguishing other counterfeit small black tea varieties (artificial or tobacco), so it was named "Zhengshan small tea varieties". "Zhengshan" refers to tung trees and the same elevation around them; Same region; Made with the same traditional process; The tea varieties with the same quality and unique flavor of longan soup are collectively called "Zhengshan races". "Zhengshan" refers to the correct and authentic meaning, while "races" refers to the tea varieties are small leaved species, and the origin and yield are limited by the regional microclimate; Therefore, "Zhengshan race" is also called Tongmuguan race.

Natural environment: Tongmu Pass is still the center of the production area, and highland tea gardens at the junction of Chong'an, Jianyang and Guangze counties are also produced. The production area is surrounded by mountains, high mountains and deep valleys. The climate is cold. The annual precipitation is more than 2300mm, the relative humidity is 80~85%, and the carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere is only 0.026%. Therefore, the local climate is characterized by low temperature, much precipitation, high humidity and long foggy days. The foggy days can last for more than 100 days, and the whole day between spring and summer is surrounded by clouds and fogs. The altitude is 1200~1500 meters. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. The temperature difference between day and night is large. The average annual temperature is 18C. The sunshine is short, the frost period is long, the soil moisture is sufficient, the soil is fertile and loose, and the organic matter content is high.
