Kurt Hensel

Kurt Hensel (born December 29, 1861, in Königsberg (now Kaliningrad)) was a German mathematician. He was educated at the University of Bonn and is best known for his contributions to the field of mathematics.

Hensel's doctoral advisor was Leopold Kronecker, a renowned mathematician who influenced Hensel's work. Under Kronecker's tutelage, Hensel went on to become a notable mathematician in his own right, and later a doctoral student, Reinhold Strassmann, would study under his guidance.

Kurt Hensel passed away on June 1, 1941, in Marburg, Germany. Throughout his life, he contributed significantly to the field of mathematics and his work continues to be studied in modern mathematics.
