Ken Levine (born September 1, 1966) - American game designer, creative director and one of the founders of Irrational Games. Levine is primarily known as the creator of the computer games BioShock, Thief: The Dark Project and System Shock 2. Levine was named one of the "Best Storytellers of the Decade" by Game Informer magazine and was named "Man of the Year" by 1UP in 2007. He was awarded the Golden Joystick Awards for his many years of contributions to the gaming industry, including System Shock 2 and BioShock.
