Katrin Krabbe is a German former track and field athlete, born on November 22, 1969, in Neubrandenburg, East Germany . She is known for her achievements in sprinting events . Krabbe also holds German citizenship .
Throughout her career, she earned numerous medals and awards. At the 1991 Tokyo World Championships, Krabbe won a gold medal in both the 100 m and 200 m races . In the same event, she also received bronze medals for the 4x100 m and the 4x400 m relays . Katrin Krabbe had an outstanding performance at the 1990 Split European Championships, where she secured gold medals in three different categories: 100 m, 200 m, and 4x100 m . In addition to these accomplishments, she was named the German Sportswoman of the Year for 1990-1991 .
Krabbe is partnered with Michael Zimmermann , and currently resides in Neubrandenburg .
