The first prototypes presented on February 10, 2022 at the Comtrans exhibition are Compass-9 with a gross weight of up to 9.5 tons and Compass-12 with a gross weight of up to 12 tons. In the second half of 2022, the production of Compass-5 models is planned with a gross weight of up to 5.5 tons and "Compass-6" with a gross weight of up to 6 tons. Car bodies - onboard or with a curtain awning. At the end of 2023, it is planned to release the Compass-3 model with a gross weight of up to 3 tons. Sleeping places are inherent in the Compass-9 and Compass-12 models.
The frame, bridges and suspension partly remained from the predecessors KamAZ-4308 and KamAZ-5308, however, the cab and interior were taken from the Chinese JAC models of the N series. The radiator grill was borrowed from the KAMAZ-54901 family
