Johnny Ramone

Johnny Ramone, born as John William Cummings, was an American guitarist, musician, and songwriter best known for his work in the punk rock genre. He was born on October 8, 1948, in Long Island and held United States citizenship. Johnny Ramone was a pseudonym that he used for his stage name.

Johnny Ramone was educated at Staunton Military Academy and later attended Berklee College of Music. He spent his career in the music industry. He passed away on September 15, 2004, in Los Angeles.
