John Scott Harrison (born April 10, 1804) was a person and politician from the United States. He was born in Vincennes, Indiana and died on May 25, 1878 in North Bend, Ohio. As a politician, John held various public roles in his lifetime.

He played a unique role in American history as he was both the son of William Henry Harrison, the ninth President of the United States, and the father of Benjamin Harrison, the twenty-third President of the United States. This made John Scott Harrison the only person in history to be the child and parent of U.S. Presidents.
