Jochem Uytdehaage

Jochem Simon Uytdehaage , born on July 9, 1976 in Utrecht , is a Dutch former long track speed skater . Uytdehaage has citizenship in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and identifies with Dutch nationality . He has worked with Samuel Schwarz (speed skater) .

During his career, Uytdehaage received numerous prestigious awards, including the Oscar Mathisen Award in 2002 , the Dutch Sportsman of the Year in 2002 , and the Ard Schenk Award in 2002 . Most notably, he won a gold medal at the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Games, taking first place in the 5000-meter event .
