Javelin

Javelin is a mobile app whose goal is to make it easier to play sports. Within Javelin, you can manage a team of players, find new players in your area to play with, or find a team or league to join.ports.

Javelin Sports has been iterating their product and services to help North America return to sports. They are currently offering all of their services free to help get everyone playing again.

Growing up, Javelin Sports CEO, Justin Ford, was an avid sports player. He played soccer, rugby, skied, did martial arts, and many others. He attributes a lot of his personal growth and development to what he learned on the sports field. Coleman Chan, Javelin Sports COO, has a similar story. He was an avid sports player who participated in high school basketball and soccer competitively.

In 2016, Justin and Coleman realized that they weren’t playing sports as much as they did when they were kids. Some market research revealed to them that over 70% of people face this same problem. They created Javelin Sports to fix this issue.

Through Javelin, Justin and Coleman have been able to re-enter the sports community. Justin and Coleman now find themselves playing sports upwards of 3-4 days per week! They’re hoping they can help other people get active as they themselves have.
