Jan Campert (August 15, 1902 – January 12, 1943) was a Dutch poet, writer, and journalist. He was born in Spijkenisse, in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Jan Campert is the father of Remco Campert, a well-known Dutch author.

He worked as a journalist throughout his career and made significant contributions to Dutch literature through his poetry and writing. Jan Campert met his tragic end at the Neuengamme concentration camp during World War II.
