Major Moscow philanthropist.

Wife of Timofey Savvich Morozov (1823–1889), daughter of a merchant of the 2nd guild F.S. Simonova, niece of K.T. Soldatenkova (1830–1911), mother of Savva Timofeevich Morozov (1862–1905).

She was born on February 9, 1830. She was the only one among Russian merchants who was awarded the distinction for twenty-five years of impeccable service in charitable institutions under the Department of Institutions of Empress Maria.

In 1908, together with her son Sergei Timofeevich, she allocated funds for the construction of two buildings of the Staro-Ekaterininskaya hospital. Building for the nervously ill with 101 beds, named after Savva Timofeevich Morozov and a maternity hospital named after Sergei Timofeevich.

After the death of her husband, Maria Fedorovna headed the Association of the Nikolskaya manufactory "Savva Morozov's son and Co." Her fortune, as shown by the spiritual testament, was estimated at 29 million rubles.
